InstaWall: HD 4K Backgrounds ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the App, how it is used, and the third-party services involved. By using InstaWall, you agree to the practices described below.
Information We Collect Directly
InstaWall does not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, or phone number. We do not operate our own analytics servers and do not collect personally identifiable information directly.
Preferences you set — such as your favorite wallpapers, recent searches, and light/dark theme — are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to us. Deleting the App removes this data from your device.
Information Collected by Third-Party Services
To provide wallpapers, show advertising, and offer optional subscriptions, the App relies on the following third-party services, which may collect data in accordance with their own privacy policies:
- Google AdMob (Advertising): The App displays banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier, IP address, and general device and usage information to serve and measure ads, including personalized advertising where permitted. - Pixabay (Wallpaper Content): Wallpaper images and search results are fetched from the Pixabay API. Standard network requests (including your IP address) are sent to Pixabay to retrieve images. See the Pixabay Privacy Policy.
- RevenueCat & App Stores (Subscriptions): If you purchase an optional subscription, payment is processed by the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Subscription status is managed through RevenueCat. We never receive or store your full payment card details. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
Advertising Identifier
The App uses your device's advertising identifier for ad delivery and measurement. You can reset this identifier or opt out of personalized advertising at any time through your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).
Permissions
The App may request permission to save wallpapers to your device's storage or photo library, and to set images as your wallpaper. These permissions are used solely for the features you request and are not used to collect personal data.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App serves third-party advertising, we recommend it be used by individuals aged 13 and older. If you believe a child has provided information through a third-party service used by the App, please contact us.
