Welcome to OfflineMind. By accessing or using the OfflineMind mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
OfflineMind lets you download and run AI language models entirely on your device, without an internet connection required for chat. Features include:
- Downloading and running open-source AI models locally.
- On-device chat with AI "Pals" (persona presets).
- An optional on-device benchmarking tool with a public leaderboard.
- An optional PalsHub marketplace for additional Pals and in-app purchases.
3. User Responsibilities
As a user of the App, you agree to:
- Use the App only for lawful purposes.
- Not use the App to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on the rights of others.
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
- Respect the intellectual property rights of the developer and of third-party model providers.
4. AI-Generated Content
The App runs third-party, open-source AI models on your device. Responses are generated by these models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are solely responsible for evaluating and using any AI-generated content, and the developer makes no warranty as to its accuracy or suitability for any purpose.
5. Purchases & PalsHub
The App may offer optional in-app purchases through PalsHub, processed by Stripe. All purchases are final except as required by applicable law or the policies of the app store through which you downloaded the App. Access to purchased content may require an active PalsHub account and internet connectivity at the time of purchase.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the App (including but not limited to code, design, and graphics) are the exclusive property of the developer and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Third-party AI models remain subject to their own respective licenses.
7. Limitation of Liability
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. The developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App, including but not limited to data loss, device malfunction, or reliance on AI-generated content.
8. Modifications to Terms
We may update these terms periodically. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We recommend checking this page regularly for updates.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nepal.
